Therefore, in addition to the original mechanical blocking effect, the electret air filter material also relies on electrostatic force to directly attract the charged particles in the air and capture them, or induce the neutral particles in the air to generate polarity and then capture them, so as to more effectively filter the submicron particles in the air, so as to significantly improve the filtration efficiency without increasing the air resistance.
The mechanism of electret antibacterial is that the strong electrostatic field and micro-electronic flow generated by electret stimulate bacteria, make its protein and nucleic acid mutation damage, destroy the surface structure of bacteria and lead to the death of bacterial viruses, thus inhibiting bacterial cells to play an antibacterial role.
