The geotechnical textile industry faces a better internal and external environment in 2018. The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed to build a solid ecological security barrier, implement ecological protection and restoration projects for mountains, rivers, forests, fields and lakes, carry out land greening, adhere to green development, and carry out blue bay renovation actions. The geotechnical materials industry is very sunny, fully in line with the policy trend. First, geotechnical production enterprises are actively exploring the environmental engineering market and have achieved good results in the fields of landfill, tailings treatment, oil exploration, industrial seepage control and ecological slope protection. A variety of products adapted to environmental protection have become new growth points in the geotechnical materials industry; second, geotechnical production enterprises have actively responded to the new situation, developed new products, opened up new markets, and focused on the international market, and achieved certain results. Third, the branch of geotechnical textile synthetic materials has developed into an organic linkage of upstream and downstream chains such as production enterprises, government, scientific research, design and development, inspection, testing, engineering application, equipment and raw materials.
 
Up to now, the branch of geotechnical textile synthetic materials includes 103 member units. Among them, there are 39 manufacturers of geosynthetics, 27 manufacturers of upstream raw materials, equipment and instruments, 16 users of major projects, and 21 scientific research institutes, testing institutions and individual members.
 
According to the incomplete statistics of the productive member enterprises of the Geotextile Synthetic Materials Branch, 39 enterprises have a total of 210 geotextile production lines, with a total production capacity of 1.2 million tons/year and an actual production of 1 million tons/year. There are 192 composite geomembrane (net) production lines with a total production capacity of 660000 tons/year and an actual production capacity of 500000 tons/year. There are more than 100 other geosynthetics production lines with a production capacity of 500000 tons/year and an actual production of 400000 tons/year. Production accounted for nearly 80% of production capacity, compared with the previous year, in a stable state.

Hongxiang New Materials is a national high-tech enterprise listed on the "New Third Board"; Jiantong Engineering achieved main business income of 0.24 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 19%; Xinyu Geotechnical Materials achieved main business income of 0.133 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 42%.
 
2, China polyester spunbond technology equipment and product research and development base (Dalian Huayang New Material Technology Co., Ltd.)
 
The "China Polyester Spunbond Technology Equipment and Product Research and Development Base" was established in 2015 relying on Dalian Huayang New Material Technology Co., Ltd., and passed the expert review organized by the China Industrial Textile Industry Association in April 2018. In the future, the construction of the base will focus on the four aspects of making up for shortcomings, promoting application, strong innovation, and emphasizing demonstration to achieve breakthroughs, improve the original innovation capabilities of enterprises, enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises, do a good job in industry leading and demonstrating, and promote the high-quality development of the industry.
 
The base has always been with the international advanced level of high-end polyester spunbonded nonwoven products and equipment manufacturing technology as the research direction, scientific research and development results are remarkable, scientific research strength has been greatly enhanced. Polyester filament spunbond needle-punched tire base fabric high-speed production line won the first prize for scientific and technological progress of China Textile Industry Federation in 2016. In 2017, the production efficiency of the III machine introduced by the company was improved by more than 90% compared with the I machine, and the energy consumption per unit product was reduced by about 80%. At present, the line in the domestic market share of more than 70%. In recent years, the company's research and development of polyester two-component spunbond composite hot air multi-functional non-woven material technology and equipment, has basically completed the pilot test, is accelerating the industrialization. In 2017, the company was rated as the national manufacturing single champion demonstration enterprise by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and Chairman Zeng Shijun was awarded the leader of China's textile technology.

It has three wholly-owned subsidiaries of Tiandingfeng Nonwovens Co., Ltd., Tiandingfeng Polypropylene Material Technology Co., Ltd. and Chuzhou Tiandingfeng Nonwovens Co., Ltd. It is mainly engaged in waterproof coiled material tire base cloth, high-strength coarse denier polypropylene filament needle punched geotextile, high-performance nonwoven geosynthetic materials, environmental protection filter materials and other non-friendly materials. 4. China Geotextile Nonwoven Material R & D Base (Weifang Camel King Industry Co., Ltd.)
 
In November 2018, the China Industrial Textile Industry Association organized experts to review the "China Geotechnical Nonwoven Material Research and Development Base" (Weifang Camel King Industrial Co., Ltd.). Camel King Industry, as a growing enterprise, is committed to the R & D and production of polyester filament spun-bonded non-woven geotextile, polyester tire base fabric and geomembrane, with remarkable achievements in recent years. The company has 6 sets of modern spunbonded needle-punched nonwoven geotextile production lines with an annual production capacity of 42000 tons, 2 sets of waterproof filament polyester tire base fabric production lines with an annual production capacity of 50 million square meters, and 1 set of geotechnical composite film production line with an annual production capacity of 10 million square meters. Its main products include filament spunbonded needle-punched nonwoven geotextile series, filament polyester tire base fabric series and geotechnical composite film series. After being evaluated, the "China Geotechnical Nonwovens R & D Base" will increase investment in product innovation, talent introduction, technological breakthroughs, etc., and further strengthen R & D team building, standard formulation, etc., and use technology to lead and enhance the development of base enterprises.
 
3. standard system construction

In recent years, with the in-depth development of geosynthetics in various industries and fields, the market research and development technology continues to innovate, making new geosynthetics products continue to emerge, which puts forward a realistic demand for improving the standard system of geosynthetics.
 
2018 is the first year of the formal implementation of the "the People's Republic of China Standardization Law", establishing a new standard system that is coordinated with the government-led standard formulation and the market's independent standard formulation. The annual meeting of the Industrial Textiles Branch of the National Textile Standardization Technical Committee held in Xiamen in 2019 put forward thoughts on its future development. The new pattern of standardization work has brought a new atmosphere to the geotechnical materials industry.
