The second quarter of the national textile industry capacity utilization rate of 77.8

According to statistics from the National Bureau of Statistics, in the second quarter of this year, the national industrial capacity utilization rate was 75.1, a decrease of 3.3 percentage points from the same period last year. Among them, the textile industry capacity utilization rate of 77.8, chemical fiber manufacturing capacity utilization rate of 83.8, chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing capacity utilization rate of 77.7.

In three categories, in the second quarter, the capacity utilization rate of the mining industry was 76.7, up 0.6 percentage points from the same period last year; the capacity utilization rate of the manufacturing industry was 75.4, down 3.4 percentage points from the same period last year; and the capacity utilization rate of the electricity, heat, gas and water production and supply industries was 70.6, down 4.1 percentage points from the same period last year.

In terms of major industries, in the second quarter, the capacity utilization rate of textile industry was 77.8, that of chemical fiber manufacturing industry was 83.8, that of chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing industry was 77.7, that of general equipment manufacturing industry was 78.5, that of special equipment manufacturing industry was 77.5, that of electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry was 76.0, and that of computer, communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry was 77.5.

In June, the added value of the national textile industry fell 3.9 percent year-on-year.
