In June, the added value of the national textile industry fell 3.9 percent year-on-year.

According to statistics from the National Bureau of Statistics, in June, the added value of industries above designated size nationwide increased by 3.9 in real terms year-on-year. Among them, the textile industry fell by 3.9, chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing increased by 5.4. From a month-on-month perspective, in June, the added value of industries above designated size increased by 0.84 over the previous month.

Among them, the textile industry fell by 3.9, chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing increased by 5.4. From a month-on-month perspective, in June, the added value of industries above designated size increased by 0.84 over the previous month.

By category, manufacturing grew 3.4 percent in June. In terms of industries, in June, 31 of the 41 major industries maintained year-on-year growth in added value. In terms of economic types, in June, the added value of state-controlled enterprises increased by 3.1 percent year-on-year; joint-stock enterprises increased by 4.0 percent, foreign and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan-invested enterprises increased by 3.6 percent; and private enterprises increased by 3.0 percent. In June, the product sales rate of industrial enterprises was 96.0 percent, down 1.1 percentage points from the same period last year, while the export delivery value of industrial enterprises was 1406.6 billion billion yuan, up 15.1 percent in nominal terms over the same period last year.
