At present, Xiantao is vigorously developing the "5 1" leading industries represented by non-woven fabrics, intelligent equipment manufacturing, electronic information technology, new energy and new materials, food processing, and modern service industries. The total industrial output value above designated size exceeds 100 billion yuan. In particular, the non-woven fabric industry has become the first pillar industry of Xiantao. According to Mayor Yu Ke, the Xiantao area will achieve an output value of nearly 50 billion yuan in 2020, becoming the country's largest nonwoven production, processing and export base. The products cover construction, medical care, daily use, environmental protection, electronics, automobiles, aerospace, etc. More than 130 varieties in 32 categories have cultivated a number of backbone nonwoven enterprises represented by Hengtian Jiahua and Xinxin, and the products are exported to more than 150 countries and regions. Since 2020, Xiantao has planned to build a small town with nonwovens characteristics, promoted the construction of "four bases and two centers", and promoted the concentration of factor resources. In the future, Xiantao will prepare the "14th Five-Year Plan" development plan and three-year action plan for the nonwovens industry at a high level, and fully declare the national advanced manufacturing cluster, the national new industrialization industry demonstration base, and the national security emergency industry demonstration base, and strive to "At the end of the period of the Five-Year Plan, it will form a domestic leading and world-class nonwovens industry cluster with more than 40 well-known brands, 200 regulated enterprises and a cluster scale of 100 billion yuan.
At the press conference, Xu Yingxin and Yu Ke jointly unveiled the "world-class textile industry cluster cultivation unit.
