On November 7, the General Administration of Customs released import and export data for October. my country's exports of mechanical and electrical products, textiles and plastic products increased, while exports of clothing, shoes and boots, and bags declined.
In the first 10 months, China exported 8.45 trillion billion yuan of mechanical and electrical products, an increase of 3.8 percent, accounting for 59 percent of the total export value. Among them, exports of automatic data processing equipment and its parts and components were 1.17 trillion yuan, up 10.5 percent; mobile phones were 632.72 billion yuan, down 4.6 percent; and automobiles (including chassis) were 85.31 billion yuan, down 6.7 percent. Over the same period, exports of textiles, including masks, rose 34.8 percent to 908.41 billion yuan; clothing 776.87 billion yuan, down 6.9 percent; plastic products 466 billion yuan, up 18 percent; furniture 309.93 billion yuan, up 7.9 percent; shoes and boots 197.16 billion yuan, down 22 percent; toys 184.31 billion yuan, up 3 percent; and bags 113.61 billion yuan, down 25 percent. In addition, 50.982 million tons of refined oil were exported, a decrease of 3.4 per cent, and 44.425 million tons of steel, a decrease of 19.3 per cent.
