Since the beginning of this year, the world economic situation has undergone major changes, Sino-US trade frictions have intensified, and disputes between South Korea and Japan have continued to intensify, casting a shadow over the development of the world economy and trade.
It is gratifying that although the world trade order is suffering an unprecedented impact, the textile trade exchanges between China and South Korea have never been interrupted. Chinese can be heard everywhere in Seoul's Dongdaemun, Myeongdong and other business districts, and people engaged in textile foreign trade also frequently travel to and from China and South Korea, constantly expanding new areas of textile trade between the two countries. In particular, the prospect of Sino US trade friction is uncertain, so that Chinese textile enterprises see opportunities in South Korea.

On August 28, the three-day Korea International Textile Exhibition (Preview in SEOUL 2019, hereinafter referred to as PIS) opened at the COEX Convention and Exhibition Center in Seoul. The exhibition was sponsored by the Korea Fiber Industry Federation and was supported by the Korea Industry and Trade Resources Department, Seoul Municipal Government, Daegu Municipal Government, Gyeonggi Province Government and Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Committee.
The PIS exhibition began in 2000 and this year coincides with its 20th anniversary. A total of 442 enterprises from home and abroad participated in the exhibition, occupying two COEX exhibition halls. Cheng Qihe, President of the Korea Fiber Industry Federation, attended the opening ceremony and presented trophies and flowers to enterprises or groups that have been participating in the exhibition for more than 15 years. The guests attending the opening ceremony also watched the film of PIS exhibition's 20-year development.

In order to make our only earth a livable planet for sustainable development, textile and fashion enterprises all over the world actively introduce 100 percent microbial decomposition raw materials, pure natural materials, zero pollution technology based on environmental protection biotechnology, etc. A large number of such sustainable materials and products have also been introduced at PIS.
