The delegation focused on the high-performance special braided fabric weaving technology and equipment and its industrialization project jointly established by Donghua University and Henghui Company. The project establishes the theoretical system of special braiding and three-dimensional pre-formed braiding through independent innovation, puts forward the high-precision dynamic control method of twist and tension, overcomes the key technology of braiding forming, solves the weaving process and weaving technical problems of offshore engineering rope, hoisting rope, communication rope, three-dimensional composite pipe, telescopic pipe, pipe derivatives, complex structural preforms and so on, and fills the domestic gap, won the "National Science and Technology Second Prize" and "Jiangsu Province Science and Technology Innovation Achievement Conversion Award".

After the investigation, Gao Yong praised Henghui Company's achievements in the industrialization of special-shaped three-dimensional weaving technology from super-large diameter to super-small diameter, and fully affirmed the school-enterprise cooperation model between Donghua University and Henghui Company. On the basis of this cooperation, further strengthen the extension and coordination of the industrial chain, pay attention to the development of application fields, and continue to meet the needs of aerospace, national defense and military industry, marine engineering and important livelihood fields.
