Recently, the official website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the fourth batch of green manufacturing list, and a number of cotton textile enterprises were selected into the public list of green factories.

Jiangsu Lianfa, Zhejiang Sanyuan, Fujian Fengzhu, Lutai Textile, Shandong Huaxing, Shandong Ruyi, Henan Pingmian, Ogilvy Medical and Dongguan Deyongjia are all members of China Cotton Textile Industry Association and have been successfully selected into the list of green factories of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

Green manufacturing project is one of the five major projects of "Made in China 2025. In 2016, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology launched the creation of green manufacturing system construction demonstration units and products.

The construction of green manufacturing system is a work started by the Ministry of industry and information technology in September 2016. It aims to promote the green development of the whole industrial chain and the whole life cycle of products, takes enterprises as the main body of construction, takes open and transparent third-party evaluation mechanism and standard system as the basis, and takes green factories, green products, green parks and green supply chains as the main contents of green manufacturing system, the aim is to implement the "Made in China 2025" and the "Green Manufacturing Project Implementation Guide (2016-2020)" to accelerate the promotion of green manufacturing.

Among them, green factories refer to factories that have realized intensive land use, harmless raw materials, clean production, waste recycling, and low-carbon energy; green products refer to those that meet environmental protection requirements during the entire life cycle, and are harmful to the ecological environment and Human health is harmless or less harmful, low resource and energy consumption, and high-quality products. The selection requires green factories to introduce life cycle thinking on the premise of ensuring product function, quality and human occupational health and safety in the production process, give priority to green raw materials, processes, technologies and equipment, meet the comprehensive requirements of standards, and carry out continuous improvement.

The green manufacturing project will focus on promoting the green transformation and upgrading of various industries and links in the manufacturing industry, and accelerate the construction of a green manufacturing system; the implementation guidelines require that the manufacturing industry focus on the improvement of resource and energy utilization efficiency and clean production level, and focus on the green transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry. Supported by technological innovation, guaranteed by the green regulatory system of regulations and standards, and starting with demonstration pilots, increase policy support and accelerate the construction of a green manufacturing system, promote the comprehensive development of green products, green factories, green parks and green supply chains, and strengthen green industries.
