This standard should be the earliest mask standard in the national standard. It has been replaced by several versions since it was formulated in 1981. GB2626-2006 is currently applicable. This standard applies to the relevant provisions of self-priming filtering anti-particulate matter breathing and self-priming filtering respiratory protective equipment for the protection of various types of particulate matter.

I. General Requirements

  1. The material needs to be strong enough to be harmless to human skin and breathing.

  2. The structure design is reasonable, does not pose a danger to the user, is convenient to wear and remove, and is easy to fix. It will not affect the wearer's vision, breathing, etc.

II. Filtration

According to the use of different media tests, masks are divided into KN(NaCl salt particles) and KP(DOP or oil particles with equivalent properties). Use the detection flow rate of (85±4)L/min to test the salt oil of the tested mask respectively. The filtration efficiency of the detected mask is also calculated by detecting the concentration of particulate matter that can pass through the detected mask. According to the filtration efficiency, the masks are divided into the following levels:

The filtration efficiencies corresponding to KN90,KN95 and KN100 are: salt filtration 90%,95% and above 99.97, respectively;

The filtration efficiencies corresponding to KP95 and KP100 are: oily filtration: 95% and above 99.97 respectively.

Third, respiratory resistance

The total inspiratory resistance of each sample should be no greater than 350Pa and the total expiratory resistance should be no greater than 250Pa.

4. Other

This standard also specifies other relevant details to meet the mask standard, such as identification: KN90 filter element is marked as GB2626--2006KN90; In addition, there are flame retardant, manufacturer, various instructions, packaging, air tightness, etc. Please refer to the original standard for details.
