The business differentiation among enterprises has also led to a decline in the overall profitability of the industry. From January to November 2018, the loss of enterprises above the industrial scale reached 12.51, an increase of 3.4 percentage points over the same period in 2017, and the loss of loss-making enterprises increased by 43.6. Small enterprises and some enterprises with a single product structure, at the end of the product life cycle, and slow innovation speed are facing greater difficulties, with reduced benefits or even losses; large enterprises have strong technological innovation capabilities, high degree of product differentiation, and fine The management is effective, and the bargaining power with upstream and downstream enterprises is relatively strong, so it continues to maintain a good momentum of development. In the first three quarters of 2018, the main business revenue and total profit of 15 listed companies in the industry increased by 12.26 and 35.69, respectively, with an average profit margin of 16.27.
By industry, the performance level of nonwovens has improved significantly. From January to November 2018, the main business income and total profit of non-woven fabric enterprises above designated size increased by 8.86 and 1.49 respectively. From the export data, the average price of non-woven fabric increased slightly; the main business income and total profit of other industrial textiles (including filtration, geotechnical, protection, transportation and composite materials) increased by 10.84 and 17.81 respectively, with an average profit margin of 5.96, A year-on-year increase of 0.35 percentage points, in the leading level in the whole textile industry. Although the main business income of ropes, ropes and cables increased by 4.94, the total profit decreased by 6.69.
From January to November 2018, the export delivery value of enterprises above designated size in the industry increased by 5.34. According to data released by China Customs, China exported 832000 tons of nonwovens from January to November 2018, with an export value of US $2.58 billion billion, an increase of 2.5 percent and 8.7 percent, respectively, and the export price of nonwovens increased by 6 percent. In the first three quarters of 2018, the United States imported $0.255 billion billion of nonwovens from China, and the share of Chinese nonwovens in the U.S. market increased slightly. According to Japanese customs data, Japan imported 229000 tons of nonwovens worth 86.59 billion yen in 2018, down 4.64 percent and 5.07 percent respectively compared with 2017, while nonwovens imported from China were 37.88 billion yen, down 12.5 percent from the same period last year.
In 2019, China's industrial textile industry will continue to rely on the huge domestic market, actively explore the international market, especially the market along the "Belt and Road Initiative" route, enhance the competitiveness of the industry through technological innovation and fine management, resolve various risks brought about by the uncertainty of the macro environment, and ensure the stable and healthy development of the industry.
