China's first e-commerce law is implemented.

This is the first comprehensive law in the field of e-commerce in China. The law involves e-commerce business entities, business behaviors, contracts, express logistics, electronic payments, etc., and makes clear and specific regulations on typical issues in the development of e-commerce. The healthy development of the company lays a legal framework.

The new law clarifies that natural persons who use WeChat Moments, webcasts and other methods to engage in commodity and service business activities are also e-commerce operators. Personal purchasing agents and WeChat merchants must also apply for industrial and commercial registration in accordance with the law to obtain relevant administrative licenses and pay taxes in accordance with the law. According to the "E-commerce Law", e-commerce operators will be strictly supervised in the future, and they will face a fine of up to 2 million yuan if they violate the regulations.
