In July, the added value of China's textile industry increased by 0.7

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, in July, the added value of industries above designated size in my country actually increased by 4.8 year-on-year (the following added value growth rates are all real growth rates after deducting price factors), and the growth rate was the same as in June. From a month-on-month perspective, in July, the added value of industries above designated size increased by 0.98 over the previous month. From January to July, the added value of industries above designated size fell 0.4 percent year-on-year.

From January to July, the added value of industries above designated size fell 0.4 percent year-on-year.

In terms of categories, in July, the manufacturing industry grew by 6.0, and the growth rate accelerated by 0.9 percentage points; the electricity, heat, gas and water production and supply industries grew by 1.7, and the growth rate dropped by 3.8 percentage points. In terms of economic types, in July, the added value of state-controlled enterprises increased by 4.1 percent year-on-year; joint-stock enterprises increased by 4.2 percent, foreign and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan-invested enterprises increased by 7.6 percent; and private enterprises increased by 4.2 percent. In terms of different industries, in July, the added value of 25 of the 41 major industries maintained a year-on-year growth. The textile industry grew by 0.7 per cent, the chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing industry by 4.7 per cent, the general equipment manufacturing industry by 9.6 per cent, the special equipment manufacturing industry by 10.2 per cent, and the electricity and heat production and supply industry by 1.7 per cent. In terms of regions, in July, the added value of the eastern region increased by 6.8 percent year-on-year, the central region increased by 3.0 percent, the western region increased by 3.2 percent, and the northeast region increased by 3.8 percent. In terms of products, 369 of the 612 products increased year on year in July.

In July, the product sales rate of industrial enterprises was 98.4 per cent, the same as in the same month last year, while the export delivery value of industrial enterprises reached 1039.9 billion billion yuan, up 1.6 per cent in nominal terms over the same period last year.
