Consumer goods industry "three products" strategic demonstration city declaration launched

In order to better carry out the "three products" special action in the consumer goods industry and create a good market environment, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently organized the declaration of the "three products" strategic demonstration city in the consumer goods industry.

According to the requirements, the declared demonstration city should have strong industry strength, strong ability to increase varieties, improve quality, create brands and excellent environment. In terms of industry strength, it is required to declare that the consumer goods industry of the demonstration city has a good foundation, regional characteristics and leading industries are outstanding, and the implementation of the "three products" strategic strength is strong. Among them, in 2018, the main business income of enterprises above the scale of consumer goods industry (including light industry, textile, food, medicine and consumer electronics) accounted for more than 35% of the total industry, and the growth rate of added value, the total income of main business and the total profit ranked in the forefront of similar cities.

In terms of increasing varieties, the level of creative design in the consumer goods industry is high, and the ability to increase the supply of high-end consumer goods is strong. Among them, the number of manufacturing single champion enterprises, enterprise technology centers above the provincial level, industrial design centers and enterprises carrying out personalized customization in the field of consumer goods industry ranks in the forefront of similar cities.

In terms of brand creation, the value of key enterprises in the consumer goods industry is required to continue to increase, the financing and development capabilities of large and medium-sized enterprises with brand enterprises as the core are enhanced, and the regional brand service system is more complete. Among them, in 2018, the number of well-known enterprise brands in the consumer goods industry and the number of enterprises focusing on tracking and cultivating independent brands of clothing and home textiles ranked in the forefront of similar cities.

The declaration process is that the declaration city voluntarily submits the application, and the deadline for submission is October 15.
