Peru ends anti-dumping duties on Chinese zippers and their accessories

On July 21, 2019, the Committee on Dumping, Subsidies and Non-Tariff Trade Barriers of Peru's National Competition and Intellectual Property Protection Agency issued Resolution 0111-SDC-INDECOPI/2019 in the official daily newspaper Peruvian (El Peruano), terminating anti-dumping duties on zippers and their accessories (Spanish: cierres de cremalleras y sus parts) originating in China; No retroactive anti-dumping duties will be imposed on the products involved from June 1, 2017 to August 16, 2017. The Peruvian tax numbers of the products involved are 96071100, 96071900 and 96072000.
On February 19, 2017, the Commission on Dumping, Subsidies and Non-Tariff Barriers to Trade of Peru's National Agency for Competition and Intellectual Property Protection issued Resolution CDB-INDECOPI -2017 to initiate an anti-dumping investigation against zippers and their accessories made in China on the application of the Peruvian company Corporaci Rey S.A. On February 18, 2018, the Commission on Dumping, Subsidies and Non-Tariff Trade Barriers of Peru's National Bureau of Competition and Intellectual Property Protection issued Resolution No. 017-CDB-INDECOPI in the official daily: to make an anti-dumping investigation on zippers and their accessories originating in China Final ruling, decided to take final measures for a period of 5 years.
