The current living conditions are getting better and better, who has not a few sets of clothes? The textile industry is developing rapidly, and there is waste when there is production, and the recycling of waste textiles is a major event. Next, China Renewable Technology will go with you to learn about it. Source recycling of waste textiles and its significance.

1. sources of waste textiles

There are three main sources of waste textiles: one is waste silk and waste materials in the production process, and waste materials in the clothing production process; the second is waste clothes, bedding, curtains, sofa towels, carpets, etc.; the third is polyester bottles Waiting for waste plastics with usable value. The comprehensive utilization rate of waste textiles in China is extremely low every year, and most of the old clothes are finally landfilled or incinerated as garbage. Such unreasonable use, the harm should not be underestimated.

Recycling and Pretreatment of 2. Waste Textiles

1. Cleaning

Pre-washing, rinsing, drying and disinfection should be carried out before the reuse of waste textiles. In this link, an important factor is the water treatment and circulation system. Commonly used disinfection methods are ultraviolet disinfection, steam disinfection, disinfectant immersion disinfection. The cost of soaking and disinfection of disinfectant is high, which is harmful to clothes, so this method is generally not used.

2. Fiber separation

Most of the recycled waste products contain a variety of fiber components, so fiber separation work is carried out before processing and utilization. The most common textile is a mixture of polyester fiber and cotton fiber. We can use the method of decomposing polyester and filtering out cotton fiber. Or the cotton fiber is degraded by viscose method or copper ammonia method and acid, and then the polyester fiber is filtered out to separate the cotton fiber. For a fabric blended with a variety of synthetic fibers, the crushed textile can be separated by crushing into water and then using a centrifuge.

Methods of Processing and Utilization of 3. Waste Textiles

At present, there are four main methods for the processing and utilization of waste textiles: mechanical method, chemical method, physical method and thermal method.

1. Mechanical method

The mechanical method can directly process and utilize waste pieces of waste textiles; or directly process recycled fibers into yarns. In recent years, the ring spinning, friction spinning and rotor spinning technologies in the textile industry have become more and more mature, effectively treating the fibers in the recycled waste products and ensuring the quality of the yarn. For example, the separated waste cotton and cotton wool are used as raw materials for rotor yarn. Through the treatment of waste cotton and silk, a special industrial base fabric was developed, which provided an important guarantee for the recycling and clean production of textile fibers.

2. Chemical method

Polyester fiber is the most important component in current textiles. The polymers in synthetic fibers are degraded by chemical methods and converted into monomers, which are then further processed into new chemical fiber materials. At present, the main treatment methods for such waste products are hydrolysis, alcoholysis, pyrolysis and supercritical methods.

3, Physical Law

The use of physical methods can not destroy the chemical structure of the polymer, does not change its internal composition, through the relevant treatment to make it conform to the quality of textile raw materials.

4. Thermal energy method

The thermal energy method is mainly a method to convert the thermal energy generated during the incineration of waste textiles into energy, and the main application field is thermal power generation.

Most of the textile waste is buried or incinerated, and rarely recycled as waste resources. Because many chemical fiber textiles are not easy to decompose, they cause serious pollution to the land after being buried, and produce a large amount of toxic gases after incineration, causing air pollution. When old clothes and fabrics are no longer discarded at will, they will not be sold for the second time, but will be recycled into clean and safe raw materials through environmental protection. This can not only save a lot of fossil fuels, but also protect the environment, and can also stimulate the employment of multiple industrial chains. opportunity.
