According to Daoud, Imran Khan's visit to China, in addition to participating in the second "Belt and Road" International Cooperation Summit Forum held in Beijing, also has an important task to sign the China-Pakistan Free Trade Agreement. This will become a turning point in the economic and trade cooperation between China and Pakistan, and will also open a new chapter in China-Pakistan textile trade and investment cooperation. In recent years, the "China-Pakistan Economic Corridor", as the flagship project of China's "One Belt One Road" initiative, has achieved phased results: the construction of Gwadar Port, energy cooperation, and the planning of special economic zones. Especially after the signing of the China-Pakistan Free Trade Agreement, combined with Pakistan's labor cost advantages, transportation advantages, improved power supply, and series of tariff preferential conditions, Pakistan sincerely welcomes Chinese textile companies to invest and build factories in Pakistan to achieve complementary textile industries between the two countries. Win.
Sun Ruizhe said that with the continuous advancement of the "Belt and Road" construction, China's textile industry has accelerated the pace of global layout, especially the gradual increase in investment projects in countries and regions along the "Belt and Road. The friendship between China and Pakistan has a long history, and Pakistan is China's only all-weather strategic cooperative partner.
At present, it is a favorable opportunity to strengthen the textile industry cooperation between the two countries. Sun Ruizhe put forward three suggestions on how to attract Chinese textile enterprises to invest in Pakistan: first, the two governments should strengthen consensus and increase support for Chinese textile enterprises to invest in Pakistan; second, set up a joint committee on investment between China and Pakistan to establish a normal dialogue mechanism to jointly explore feasible cooperation projects; third, the two sides should strengthen business visits to enhance understanding and mutual trust. The China Textile Federation will consider taking a delegation of entrepreneurs to Pakistan for field visits and inspections, and also welcome Pakistani companies to come to China for docking exchanges.
Imran Khan listened carefully to Sun Ruizhe's suggestions and said that the Pakistani government will provide convenient conditions and full support for Chinese companies investing in Pakistan, and hopes that more and more Chinese textile companies can take root in Pakistan.
